Choosing a flywheel for my project
so i am finishing my 3 year project this summer i demand it and i have a few questions about finishing it since this is my first build ever. i have a 89 fc n/a trying to convert to tii which i did sorta i replaced everything from wiring intrior a complete swap but i am transplanting a tii motor and i am having it tuned for mayb 500+ which flywheel would be a safe bet to use ive been researching and havent figured one out yet and which counterweight to use or if all the aftermarket ones are the same much help needed with this one and what kind of clutch should i be going for to pair up with it or what people seem to be more reliable performing and driveability not necc. in that order thanx

For 500+ hp you need a very strong clutch, in ACT either Extreme or Maxx Extreme. The flywheel depends on the application, if you are going to be spending more time on the street then then go with the Streetlite.
For serious power we install the Exedy multi-plate clutches, which comes with it's own flywheel. Counterweights are listed on our site, they are selected depending on the series motor being used. More importantly, which rotating assembly is used. For example if your engine was built with S4 rotors, then you need the S4 counterweight.
