Well a little update, this weekend I checked more for vacuum leaks and asked my uncle to help take a deeper look at the car with me... Sprayed and sprayed with carb cleaner not changing the idle.

Based on his old smog machine (one of the ones before dyno setup) the car is running lean. We checked the Lean/Rich mixture screw, and its turned all the way into the rich mark, im not sure if that should be how it is.. the previous owner had that set that way...

He seems to think the car is in some limp mode right now, you can disconnect the O2 sensor and it doesnt change the idle at all, when when its idling well or idling like crap, either way it seems to make no difference. As well as im getting pretty awful gasmilage (50 miles to 1/2 tank) The milage is worse then I was getting before I replaced all my vac lines with new ones and the plennum gasket, it was well.. I don't think in this limp mode...

Can I take a volt meter to the O2 sensor and tell weither or not its bad?

Would the car be throwing codes out, and not be displaying any indiacator lights by chance. Maybe the car can give me some hints as to what the hell is going on with it......

Then I tried adjusting the BAC valve to bring the idle down to a point where I might be able to check the timing. However it didn't seem to help any. It brought the idle down to specs, but still the timing marks are jumping all over the place. So I set the timing like so:
Rev the car up to about 3k listen for pops or miss fires.. and found the spot where I got no pops what so ever between 3 and 5k (only held it up there shortly) then took it for a drive and made sure it was ok. (Unless someone knows any better way to set it right now...)

I went and bought a cheap digital volt meter in hopes to set the TPS this weekend, but I couldn't really figure out WHICH sensor it was on the back I needed to play with. So I will be searching for pictures of the TPS so I can take a look at the ohms and what screws to adjust etc...

Then I'll be making a pipe so I can bypass the Intercooler, and check some more vac lines under it...

I am also looking around for a replacement Purge Control Valve, since mine is epoxy'd back togeather. I just assume replace it if I can find another. If anyone has one to spare, please let me know, or if they know where I can buy one (other then the dealer and junkyards.)

I thank everyones help with my lack of knowledge in the area of the rotary, I'll try my best to give back the information I pick up from around these parts.

Thanks again.
