Question a/f gauge install thru ecu

well i have searched and found that this is the best way to install the a/f gauge. well i wanted to know if n e one had ne pics to show me on their install..? im a visual learner sorry... well even on which wires i tap into i would love a visual on that too. i am sketchy when it comes to eletrical work and like to do it right... so please if u have pics or links please post up...
i already have an fsm type diagram on where the wires should be tapped into. but like i said id like to have a better visual before attempting to tap into ecu wires...
and also what kind of connectors am i supposed to use?
thanks
jack

Jack, just hook it up like I did which is just splice into the single wire on the O2 sensor and run it to the gauge. That's how autometer has you do it per their instructions...plus, it's easier.

Just my $0.02

Stay away from the O2 sensor. There's too greater chance of stuffing up the connection and grounding the signal through the shield wire. Make your connections at the ECU by stripping off a bit of the wire's insulation off and soldering the A/F gauge wire to it. You can get power, ground and signal all at the ECU. The FSM wiring diagrams show you what colour the wires are and where they are on the plugs.
