checking out a TII for sale....
so i was browsing around looking for a TII when i spot this one out it has 77k orignal miles 1 owner the car was repainted red but has poor repain the interior is 100% COMPLETE other than an aftermarket radio that is no longer there the car does run but has a problem with the motor maybe you guys can tell me what it is this is what the seller said in exact words
The car starts right up when it's cold but after it runs awhile, it won't start again, if you shut it off, until it cools off again.
do you guys know what this might be because if its not that much of an issue than id get it if it requires a rebuild not intrested...
Thanks

well thats what my car was doing it would flood when it got hot and i could have to use my pedal to unflood because the 89 and up came with built in cut off switch. it might be the coil pack you could always check the compression

Ummm no. The hot start problem is easily fixed and has nothing to do with needing a rebuild. Mine had the exact same problem and I fixed it by installing a fuel cut-off switch. It's been running fine like that for over 2 years now without a problem.

Thats right, try to send the injectors in for cleaning, I did that, and it didn't work, only other reason was low compression, I bought the car without doing the test and now.........well, Im happy now my rebuild is ust about finished!
