Spend the dough and get a real manifold. It'll more than pay off in the end.
Like said above, where do you plan on putting the gate if your going to use the stock manifold? Please don't be one of those crazy people that drills a hole in the hotside of the turbo for it...
I'd say sell the GT42, get a GT35 or T04R so you can have the funds to finish the project right.
What are you planning on running for ignition? Stock?

Huh? The viper 5900 is discontinued and has been for a while now. It got replaced by the 5901.
I agree, ditch that manifold. It looks like it got welded up by a chimpanzee.
I will say though, good luck, the other parts you have look sweet.

I Personally know the guy selling this manifold, Rob, as well as who built it. I know he would deal outside of ebay as well. Send him a message.

If you've already got the E-fans and are ditching the stock fan, and have the engine out... why not just go V-mount? That way you don't have a massive pressure drop across both the IC and the radiator, plus the mounting on the radiator looks like it'll be bouncing around a bit once you get going, rubbing on the IC and asking to fail.

The fan mounting does need help. And its hard to tell, but it doesn't look like you took the advice about that manifold where is the wastegate btw?.... Looks like its coming together, just not quite ideally.

I meant the outside, cooling air flow from the front bumper. The way it is now, it has to flow through both heat exchangers packed right against one another instead of through only one in a good, ducted V-mount configuration (which would have higher flow than this, so greater overall cooling capacity too). All the hardware besides a couple hoses and the mounting is already there.

Good luck man, I like to see different ways of thinking, I can't say BOoo or Yeeaa, until we see some vids and this thing is running...
As long as it works, has power, and stays in one peice, Rock it!! Just because it's not a $10,000 setup doesn't mean it can't be fast, and reliable (relatively speaking) and beat a 2jz powered car...
