i found this 90 rx-7 sitting at a car shop with grass growing high around the car so it looked camoflauged. it is black and according to the shop owner, the car is not theirs...it belongs to some lady who dropped it off at their shop in june of last year to replace a leaking pipe or something. they completed the replacement of the pipe but someone had cracked the back glass on the car. it is covered by some waterproof cloth ever since...the rear glass area that is. so i wanna offer the lady some money for the car. how much do you think? it has 120k miles, alarm, enkie rims, no rust, and is really good interior. but ill bet it wont start after sitting for almost a year and also the door panel looked a bit moldy. how much ya think i should offer? or how should i approach her with my offer?

If you know who the owner is, that is if you found out already, I would ask if she wants to sell it. She might have left it because she's not really interested in keeping it anyway. Don't make an offer, let her tell you what she's looking to get from it and haggle from there. She might not ask as much as you will offer right off the bat. Use the little problems you already noticed to negotiate on it. As far as how much to offer, its really hard to say without seeing a car in person. I'd look for bluebook values for trade-in to start with. Good luck with your ventures!
