one is grease for the rod that the calipers slide onto, the other might anti squeek compound.
i'm sure others can shed more light on this subject. did it come with directions?

im not for sure but i belive the bright red grease is anti squeek compound and the other is for the rod that the calipers slide into like alex said...one reason i think this is because i kinda remember using the two componds and two it would make sence because you need alot more anti squeek then you do grease so thats why you have two packets of the one kind

Every time i rebuild calipers I throw the factory stuff away and put rubber grease on the seals and copper grease on the pads, whats the point of suppling the stuff if they dont label it?

alright well i just finished rebuilding the caliper. not that hard at all. the hardest part was pulling that ring out below the piston since i did not have the right tools. it quit leaking where it was before.

but i also installed some ss lines from cork sport. now it is leaking a little where it connects to the hard line. what should put on the threads to stop that?
