Check engine light comes on around turns.

So WTH is that... Now even when I pull slightly around a bend the engine light will come on but I hear no beeping like other people when thier oil is low. Why would this be. Am I messing something up around turns like running low on oil. That would suck. I would imagine it could just be a sensor.

It sounds like 2 things.
1. a loose connector or ground that looses contact in turns.
2. Old bad stored codes in your computer

To clear codes on your 7 do the following.
1. disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. hold down the brake pedal for 5 seconds or more.
3. reconnect negative battery cable.

Try clearing the codes first. this should help

are you sure it's the check engine light and not one of the others?

Mine did that. I had to reground the trailing coil. But my tach died as well, so probally not the same thing. But it is worth a check!

Thnx for all the input.. Yes I did change the oil and It was the check engine light.lol. The windshield washer fluid is empty though. That sounds interesting. I will fill them up. This has been going on for a wile but its been coming on easier, like less Geez. No not the cheese the geez. Its been doing it before I started playing with all the wires in the body harness so the coil ground probly not it. Anywone else??? thnx for the input and I will try some of your suggestions. I will try the code thing right now.

If it is a valid CHECK ENGINE light, wouldn't the ECU store some error codes?&nbsp Try doing an error code scan on your ECU...

BTW, if your cold solder joints are bad, it would cause an intermittent CHECK ENGINE light problem that's actually a solid CHECK ENGINE light!
