T2 Air bleeder help
Alright I was just looking at a post and read that these cars wont idle without those air bleeders in the primaries so that got me thinking, right now my 87 t2 dont idle good and has a trouble at low rpm like a stutter what way are t2 air bleeders suppose to be in there? There is that one piece that is angled how should it be in there? Can this effect the car?
Also what is that Vac line doing that goes down between the 2 oil injectors?

That vac line between the two oil injectors, feeds filtered air that originates in front of the throttle plates, therefore not a vacuum, to the air bleeds for the primary fuel injectors. Any suction comes FROM the air bleed area, not the throttle body.
I'm not aware of any special orientation of the air bleeds. That statement does not mean that there might be a special way. I just know of none.

The primary are bleed valves are "keyed" so they can only go in one way.  Well, you can shove them in backwards, but you'd probably destroy them in the process.

I learned something today. I never noticed any keying. Read the posts and said huh? Went and looked at a na and there was no keying. Went and looked at the turbo and pulled one. Has a big fat notch and its a two part bleed instead of a one piece like the na. Mazdatrix shows the difference in one and two piece. The turbo also has a middle *diffuser* canted at an angle, unlike the na which has no middle one and the one it has on the bottom is parallel with the bore. http://www.mazdatrix.com/c-6.htm

I be a saying that the intermediate housing on the turbo and na are indeed both notched in the housing itself, but only the lower bleed on the turbo is keyed or notched to to fit the housing. Most likely due to that slanted part on the lower bleed. The na housing is notched but the bleed, one part, is not because its symmetrical in shape i.e no slanted diffuser part. Not be a talking about secondaries.
