Check the coolant seal.

i might buy this rx7, but when the car started, dumb guy revved engine to max and lots of white smoke came out, so i'm worried about the coolant. what is the fuse called where it lets the engine crank and not start? i know i have to disconnect it, but where is it? pics would be nice if that's ok. and if coolant is bad, how much to repair?

oh and btw, if coolant is leaking on the floor, then if it's just the coolant pipes, then is it an easy fix?

To check the coolent open the rad cap ( before starting and engine is cold)...
Once started, look into the rad.. If you see air bubbles seal is gone...

yes its ok to run the car with the cap off, if it bubbles, the seal is gone, and yes if there is stuff on the ground it could be just a hose and maybe easy to fix

if you are getting coolant in the cabin then more than likely your heater core is shot. funny story...me and a friend of mine were in his car and he gunned it passing someone and coolant just shot out all over my damn shoes cause his heater core blew. Wasnt too funny then though

take the water-neck cap off, not the overflow tank cap. if it bubbles or spews evrywhere, the o-rings are shot.

no. you dont have to do anything with that. the water neck that is on the engine itself is the one you want to look in. its right next to the altenator.

its cool. i dont have any way to take pics to post them. the altenator is the round thing with pullys on it. if you are at the front of the car facing twords the car, the water-neck is to the left of the altenator. it will have a black hose connecting to it, and a cap on it. remove the cap, after the car is started and look in the hole for bubbles.

i saw the car today again, when it started. white smoke came out for about a minute while car was warming up, smelled just like regular exhaust. car hadnt been started in a few months. anyways, i couldnt find the hose. i looked around this area, check the pic.
