pineapple racing can rebuild your tranny for CHEAP... anyone know of any other good, cheap places to get it rebuilt? i'm also guessing there is no other place than the manufacturer to get a completely new tranny?

Trust me. I got it with about 250 dollars of other parts FOR 200 bucks. Thats why I said under 200. I would say if I divided it up between all the parts evenly I payed around 25 dollars for it.

FYI, Mazda no longer offers new or re-built manual trannies. Parts only.

I got mine off the for sale section here. I blew my transmission one evening, posted a wanted ad here the next morning, and had the deal completed with a new low milage transmission in my driveway that night. Cost me $125 and it's smooth as can be.

I have an N/A 5 speed trans for sale out of a 91 with about 89k miles on it. Works perfectly. I sent you an email, so get back to me and we can work something out. I just want to get rid of it. I'm located in Northern NJ (Wayne/Paterson area).

I also have an ACT street/strip clutch and pressure plate for sale if you're interested. Has 19k miles on it, good condition, and comes with a brand new throwout bearing. I'm asking $200 for it.

Let me know.
