some searching might do you some good.......

yes the hoods will swap, but when going from steel to aluminum or vice versa be aware that there are different hinges and latches for each respective hood.

2K to spend on an N/A.....exhaust and intake and save the rest for a TII......or better yet, save it all for a TII......or TII swap whatever - hehe

Take w/e isnt needed out of the car, its free and is the biggest help. Gut the cats, header, full system, intake kit. Its all been covered before. Just dont expect much out of a stock motor.

Agreed. In my experience modding an NA is pretty pointless, yes you can get some power gains but you hit a ceiling pretty fast when you want more power. Turbo swap it and it will be much more worthwhile.

Start with a full tuneup, fix all the things that are broken (bushings, bearings, etc.) and then spend the rest on suspension. In my mind that seems to be the best path for an NA. Then you can get the exhaust and intake, loose some weight and have a quick and fun car...

Just because NAs can't be made as fast as TII's doesn't mean its pointless to mod them. You can still have a lot of fun with an NA.
As for the mods, I agree with Aaron. Replace whats broken, then get a good suspention, then spend the rest on exhaust and intake. You really can't boost the power a whole lot without tearing the engine apart so spend it on stuff you can enjoy all the time, like a nice suspention setup.

yea personally i think eibachs are some of the best...it'd want adjustibility though...get a ground control coilover conv for those tokicos...adds ride height adjustibility and ground control uses springs made by eibach for them. and shouldnt cost too much more than an eibach pro-kit or sportline.
