Cheap ebay Turbo muffler w/ silencer...

Anyone running these?

Local muffler shops want $80 farg'n dollars for an inline silencer. Figure I'd just buy a quieter muffler.

Do the silencers really quiet down these mufflers alot? I am looking for a muffler that is quiet. Not a fart can!

But if they are actually quiet I'm gonna buy one.

I talked ot the seller and they said they weigh roughly 5lbs? I don't see how that is possible either...

I'd really like to hear one of these on an RX w/ the silencer. Hook me up guys!

Thanks...

Please dont. Stick with a brand name muffler. Not only will a brand name muffler probably last longer but will also look and sound better. Those ebay mufflers are ussualy of very poor quality. Especially when its under $50. If you want that style atl east stick with an Apex N1

In my experience, the more expensive the muffler, the better it sounds..

if your muffler needs a silencer thats a sign its not doing its job well enough. thats why im not a fan of the n1 style mufflers. id MUCH rather have an rb style duel over a single exit fart cannon

+1 for Racing Beat, worth every penny. I have those knockoff N1's your looking at and theyre absolutely horrible when unsilenced and still consistantly annoying with the "silencers" in.

but anyways, i wouldnt trust any ebay knock off stuff like that. Get a Stock replacement muffler or get something trust worthy like Borla or Racing beat.

I have the black dragon oem replacement muffler. Less than a year old. But since the cat removal the car is still very loud. I think I'll just put a silencer inline with the factory muffler. The header shoud lmake up for the power loss of the silencer install.
