Cheap bastard

I had a bad experience trying to use Russell SS line with Earl's fittings, so I was wondering, is it possible to use half of the swivel seats and clamp regular fuel line onto them? I had to buy rims, tires, airbleeds, grommets, o-rings, some bolts and nuts, and some other misc ****, and i don't have the expendable income for some new SS line until next month. This is the only thing stopping my car from running, and I was hoping to get it up this month.

Typical fuel line max pressure = 200 PSI
Typical hydraulic line max pressure = 1000+ PSI
