Charging System Wriring Question

I've had to rewire my charging system.
I've got the alternator output and the main wired directly to the positive battery post.
Will this cause any issues?

The alt wire should actually go through the 80A or 100A fuse in the engine fuse box because that fuse box actually servers as a buss for the 30A EGI, 30A Head, 60A ABS, 60A BTN and 30A Retractor circuits.

What you've done would still work provided that you didn't remove the other with that runs from the positive battery terminal to the other side of the 80A or 100A fuse. The only downside with what you've done is that the alt output is unfused.

You could add an 80amp fuse from a car audio kit, just go to a local car audio shop and pickup a barrel style or flat style one and add it inline for safety

This! However, I would use the factory one, since its already in place.
