Charcoal Canister purge valve on TID?

Charcoal Canister purge valve on TID?
Do i need this hose with a nipple running to my new TID im making? I need to know if i should weld a nipple...
I dont even have the canister in the vehicle anymore, it broke. Can i just plug up the purge valve and move on with my life?

Ive tried searching, how would i go about removing the PCV (purge control valve). The charcoal canister is out, and i dont have the check valve for the hose that runs to my TID anymore, so i think its pretty much useless anyway. I dont have to worry about emissions either.

Well I temporarily circumvented my PCV.
I have put a small filter on the oil fill neck and capped off the lower crank case vent.
I then kept the check valve on the TID just so it would suck the vapors out of the line.
So I'm still half using the charcoal system.
If I remember right.
You will need to vent the charcoal inlet line outside somewher like under the car away from stuff like exhaust(gas vapor== ).
That removes the charcoal and then you cap the lower crankcase then put a breather on.
This will get rid of the check valve on the TID.
I wouldn't bother with all that though.
I would just drill a small hole in the TID. Then get a rubber oring/washer and a screw on fitting.
Much easier than welding
You can probably find some plastic ones to work.
If you can't find one which fits the check valve then get some liquid nails or something to seal the edges.

The thing is i dont have the check valve for the hose to the TID. Instead of keeping the system and having to go to a junk yard that actually has an FC and buy one, then weld (id preffer welding if i was to do it) a nipple to my new TID, id rather just say "to hell with it". I already have all other emissions removed except for the rats nest
My charcoal canister busted, and so all i did was cap the inlet hose to it... should i vent it under the car instead?
When you put a breather on, you mean on the metal nipple right below the oil filler cap? And then at the other end of the hose just cap it? Im trying to figure out how the system works...

OK. That charcoal line you capped.
It is either the ones which connects to the crankcase or it's the one which comes from the gas tank.
Pretty much it stores gas vapors while the car is off. Then when you start the car it sucks them into the engine to be burned off.
here is my routing of the lines.
You can see the PCV and charcoal are not directly linked.
I am thinking that you canndo it two ways.
Ditch the PCV and cap the UIM nipples off.
Then connect the charcoal line to that nipple at the base of the oil filler(was for the PCV/in pic)
Then use a filter on the top nipple on the filler tube(right at fill cap)
This will ditch the PCV and check valve on the TID.
Now in a perfect world you will want to use a catch can instead of filter so you don't go spraying oil and gas vapor around instead of useing that filter.
PS That pic is specific to my setup so you'll notice a lot of stuff is gone(EGR,twinscroll,ACV,etc...)
