I have a S4 NA just did my motor mounts and started to do the tranny mounts. I got the 4 bolts off the cross member no prob but I can't get the 12mm nut off the transmission mount because I can't get in there with a socet or a wrench there's no room. How did you guys get it out I think I'm just going to go nuts with an angle grinder and cut up the crossmember (I have a new one) so I can get at the nut.

 

You can use an open ended wrench, just a little hard, thats what i did.
