i would say getting to it would be the hardest part. make sure you replace it with a new one, not another used one.

make sure to depressurize the system unless you want fuel spraying everywhere.

As I recall on the 86-88 non turbos and the 86-88 Jspecs, it is pretty easy to get too without having to pull the upper intake manifold if you have a thin 17mm wrench. The tough thing is just getting the right angle to slide the wrench in and turn it enough to break it loose. Once loose, you can unscrew it by hand.

In worst case just remove the upper intake manifold and then it is real easy to get the wrench on to remove it.

Better off to start a thread and/or search. Chances are someone has the same question and you can't search PM's.

Plus, occasionally we are all wrong, so getting multiple inputs is always a good thing.

99% of the time it is the drivers switch that has an issue when the passengers window does not work.

Remember the passengers power window gets both power and ground from the driver's power window switch.

I'd pull the driver's window switch, check the lock out wire (that is the one that turns the passengers power window power on and off). If that is good, then check the grounds on the red/black and Green/black (both should be resting at ground when the switch is not being used).

when you replace the pd, use new gaskets. ohh and if you havent already, replace your vacuum hoses and send your injectors to get cleaned out. maybe redo you omp lines too. i did this all with with a haynes manual and the FSM. with no prior mechanical experience.

FSM = Factory Service Manual, available for download in the FAQ.

When I did my PD, I made the mistake of taking the rail off first, so I had to clamp it to a table with a C-clamp and then I just leaned on the wrench and it broke free.
