changing my flywheel
i got the big *** nut off of the flywheel but i cant get the flywheel off. i tried prying on it with three different prybars while turning it and no success. i went to napa to buy a flywheel puller and they didnt have one. so i bought something that i thought might work but it didnt. what have yall used to get the flywheel off?

A "puller" or any type of prying probably isn't going to help you.
FIRST... put the nut back on a thread or two so the flywheel doesn't fall off....
Whack it with a large rubber mallet around the outside edges. If you can't get it with that, you could use a large hammer and a block of wood. The main idea is not to smack the friction surface with anything hard.

yup. i always give it one good whack with a rubber mallet. Id recommend hitting it lightly a couple times the first time you do this. hitting the flywheel too hard could make your eshaft or flywheel untrue.
i haven't come across this yet but i'm told it could happen

More heat and a more powerful air gun? It can take sometimes about 10 minutes of heating the nut up with a regular propane torch. The gun I use these days to pop those things off is rated 600 FT-LBs.
