It is very easy and streightforward.

Just dont strip the screws.

its a bitch to get the old screws that hold the cover on...

once they are out just run to the hardware store and replace them with galvanized hex heads...

and use a new gasket

Yeah the screws can be a bitch to remove. I found it easier to use an impact screwdriver, the kind they use to remove the screws on brake rotors.

Depressurize the system first. Fuel spraying everywhere isn't good...

If you're lucky like me, the screws will be in perfect condition and unscrew easily with a screwdriver. This makes a fuel pump swap a 30 minute job. The gasket was in perfect condition too.

yeah I did mine in 10 min. Unfortunately when attaching the walboro power wire to the small brass terminal it sheared off. Leaving me 3 threads to hold on to. I locktite'd the bolt onto the terminal.

does anyone know where I can get a replacement for that or do I need a whole new cover peice?

as said above, use a new gasket. DON'T use RTV, gas eats silicone..
