look just to the inside and just below the brake master cylinder, that black thing on the very bottom of the firewall (just under the steering gear)

easier to get to it from underneath. Still a PITA

yeah easier to get from underneith.

Unbolt the filter from the frame rail, then unclip the clamps.

make sure there is not a water heater, furnace, gas clothes drier in the area, like there is sometimes in some garages.

If the lines are really stuck and won't twist off, just cut them off as close to the filter as you can get.

have a rag handy because some gas will spill.

Once the filter is free from the lines drop it down and remove the clamp. Then attach the clamp onto the new filter and re-install it. Make sure you don't mix up the out and in on the filter when you re-install it. Out is to the engine, in is from the gas tank/rear of car.

To stop from getting gas all over you and the car, pull the egi fuse while running to let all the fuel out of the lines. Then change the filter.

Won't that screw something up? Or won't it at least flood it?
