i just now got done changing all of my belts and it was annoying. I didnt know that you had to take off the fan just to put the alternator belt on. Thats the last belt on the crank pully. Then I had and friend a me install some fog lights so it looks pretty good now instead of those stock ugly ones. Ill have some pics sometime soon

 

Im pretty sure you can loop the belts around the fan, thats what I just with my power steering one anyway...

The stock S5 fogs kick ***, I hope you didnt replace them with some auto-zone ones..

 

ohh no i dont like auto zone stuff they are hyper white lights with a blue lens instead of clear. Yea i know 2 belts go around the fan but the water and the alternator have to go over the fan.

 

have replaced X 3. Never has to remove the fan.

 

Getting a belt on without taking off the fan is easy. Look at it for a few minutes. Smoke a bowl even. Look at it some more. When it hits you, you will kick yourself in the *** so hard...

 

Sounds like a plan!
