changed oil today from 5W30 to 10W30 and it feels sluggish now
I had just put in Mobile 1 5W30 less than 1000 miles ago and I was worried it was too thin so I put in Royal Purple 10w30.
now the car feels less responsive than before. is the oil that much thicker?
also changed the diff oil to Mobile 1 75W90 today

are you seeing sub zero temps that you were running 5W30???
But regardless of that, did you overfill the engine. It should not be above the H level line on the dipstick when cold or hot.

^^^^!! Holy crap! Someone actually knows what the numbers stand for!! I was wondering why no one mentioned that?? But, yes I agree. Your oil made absolutely no diference. It's all in your head

well it has gotten down to the teens lately but I am in Louisiana where today it will be in thel ow 60's.
putting in 5W30 was an accident, didnt mean to get that weight.
I will check the fill level today. should be OK.
