Changed oil, now cranks but won't start
So the story Is that I have a 92 vert, and It ran awesome and just has 84,000 miles on it. So it came time for the oil change.. I pulled it into my garage propped it up. did the oil change. Now it cranks, but will not start. WTF? that makes absolutely no sense to me. Has anyone ever had this problem, or got any advice for me? It's my first rotary, and I'm a little stumped
Thanks fellas
Thanks fellas

I think we need more info, with what we have so far it sounds very odd, but if you tell us if it's doing anything else out of the ordinary it could help. Like: is it cranking slower? Does it sputter like it's firing but just not enough to get it going? Any smoke or weird smells in the engine bay, cabin, or exhaust? Stuff like that.

^^^ Yeah, it could be. Deflooding is pretty harmless. Just make sure you didn't forget to tighten the plug, install the filter, fill oil and cap the cap (but that last one should never stop it from starting). However, if you were low on oil the low oil light and buzzer should come on, but could be delayed so you may have to wait with the ignition on. I've never had my buzzer sound for oil reasons so I don't know how fast the sensor responds.

Is the unflooding procedure on here, eh I'll search. But some info:
No weird smells
Cranks at a normal speed, the usual
No smoke
It doesn't start sputter
I will recheck for spark, and search and perform the un-flooding procedure. It seemed very odd to me too.

so, It Has spark, I changed the spark plugs, but I have a question about that. what is the difference between the top spark plugs, and the bottom? The top 2 that I changed were black on the tip. and checked about the unflooding, and all I got was the taking out the some fuse for the fuel pump that I couldn't find. Any help would be appreciated I just got a call for an interview, and I really need to get on the road.
Thanks

look under ur hood on ur drivers side
theres like 6 giant fuses with a cover on em
pullout the one that says EGI (i said pull out)
crank it over for like 10 seconds
put the EGI fuse back in
congatulations, your car is deflooded
EDIT: oh yeah when youre cranking it floor the gas pedal

Pour a small amount of motor oil (not atf) into your spark plug holes and hand crank the motor a few times (with the key out of the ignition) Put a few more drops into the holes, use a wire brush and clean off the spark plugs then install them, floor the accelerator, and fire her up, it will probably smoke for a little while after that. Make sure you fully warm it up next time..
And make sure you have a fully charged battery before you attempt this, a weak battery will only make it worse.
