Yeah I've seen several different post on this.
I believe you'll need to go with hoodpins if I remember because the hood hinges don't work right.
I'd love a carbon fiber hood in the same shape as the TII's hood.

100% functional. TIIs have a top mount intercooler
The intake duct seals to the intercooler which forces air through it. Removing the duct & rubber seals would kill it's effeciency, so the inverse hood scoop is out for TII owners.
From the last post, I think they settled on have several styles made. NA hood, inverse duct (gives a beefy car look), TII duct.
There's enough FC owners wanting carbon fiber hoods to justify all 3 styles.

I would pay to have either hood. I would prefer tII but if there is only n/a, I don't give a ****. Somebody put a web site up. I know there are hella people looking for one.
Crossbar, what is the place you are talking about. I haven't found anyone who makes these. Hoodpins or not.

I'd love an exact replica of the TII hood... ive got no problem with hoodpins to hold it down, but I'd rather not have to take the hood off to work on the car or check my oil... so a means of hooking it up to the stock hood hinges would be cool. Of course, I need money first.....

its a company that sells to my local performance shop, they sell al types f carbon fiber hoods, and oners they dont commonly make they can do say 10 of for like 25% more each than regular, so regular dealer cost for me is 525 shipped for one so it may be around 600-650 for me shipped............but thats cost and i dont know if i can afford to by that many and not sell them all, we will see, i am awaiting any exact price.

I have CF in the making at my shop right now we are booked I have many on back order so if you like I can make anyone who wants some. But It may be awhile till we get cought up. Right now the turbo style is the onlything being made. The n/a would be easy to start making if you guys realy don't like the turbo. I have had a turbo hood on an n/a before, I will tell you it realy makes the intake manafold cold. let me know if you are willing and I will put you on the list no money down. they are running $525 plus shipping. they are 4 pin hoods due to popular demand. People like being able to pull the hole hood of to work on the car. locking pins are avilable.
