Dude I used to live in Moreno Valley! Anyway, you need to take this one step at a time. First get a volt meter out and make sure you geting voltage to the plug. Make sure your ground is good too. If you replaced the bulb and it still doesnt work, something is wrong up there. You going to have to trace the wire down to see wher the problem is. Check your fuses too.

Maybe someone should actually help him?
Grab a voltmeter and connect each probe to the clips that hold the bulb. Open the door, flick the switch back and forth. See 12V? If so, then you need a bulb. If not, then you need to start looking at a wiring problem. Pull the assembly apart and check for a broken connection as NZ suggested.

My dome light wasn't working, so I pulled the bulb. It looked OK, but since I didn't have a meter and was near a parts shop, I snagged a set of new ones. Popped a new one in, no go. Pulled it again, pinched the connector clips together a bit, tried again, and viola, cabin lighting.
Might work for you, too. Try twisting the bulb in its casing and see if you can get it to light. Careful as this tiny bulb heats up instantly. Plus I suppose you should take electrical precautions if you don't want a shock.
Good luck.
