center console security light

Question center console security light

i replaced the bulb for the security light and still nothing where do the wires for the sec. light go to ? how can i make the light work ?
please guys b/c i no i didnt have a factory security system but i want to rig thelight up for potential burgalers.

just get a 12v led from radio shack and wire it up with a positive and a ground. works for me

The center consol security light is controlled by the security system. If you don't have a security system, you don't have anyway to make it blink.

i resoldered my CPU and the security light started blinking when i opened my door. i'd try resoldering the cpu.

The CPU has nothing to do with the security system other than if its bad, it could trigger and prevent the security system from arming or the lights flashing in event of a trigger.

i have aready resoldered the cpu but dude my car didnt have a security alarm from the factory so i just want to know how i can rig it to be blinkin 24/7

Your best bet is to wire a flashing super bright LED into it.
