CD player wont cut on now
was doing some work in my car.....now the cdplayer will not come on.......i checked the 20a fuse.....its fine....
i did pull the speakers out and put them back in.......also there was a little blue wire on the drivers side seat belt that got broken.......any suggestions?

it isnt the stock cd player. its a pioneer.
the radio does not come on at all........what i was doing: putting a new interior in the rear....i mean the only wires i even touched were the speaker ones and the blue one that broke off the seat belt

forgot to mention, my stock clock would sometimes work, sometimes wouldnt, and when it did work was really dim.......now its fully bright...wtf did i do??

Aftermarket head units usually have a fuse on one of the power leads. Check it.

If the car's stereo fuse it okay, you'll need to pull the head unit to check it's own fuse.
While you were working on those speakers, was it switched on? Touching the positive and negative speaker wires together while the unit's on can cause internal damage. Guess how I know…

Also, if you yank the CD player out, check to make sure that the power and ground cables are connected correctly. For the longest time, I couldnt' figure out why I had a gremlin in my CD player...turns out the ground cable wasn't connected properly. Reattached, workes 100% to this day.

bought an LCD today, ill be running my xbox to an amp/crossover (havent decided setup yet), then to the speakers.....guess that problems solved, thanks to everyone thuogh.
