I had the same problem and you know what I did? for jus under $100, I got a stock pioneer unit from an 89 vert and intalled it. Radio and cassette work great and the cd player will play it as long as the disk isn't burned and it isn't too cold or bumpy. Personally, after a year of searching, if the stock interior look and flow is what you're going for then cough up them dollas and pay for some stock parts. It fits the bin flawlessly and operated fine for a 17 year old unit and that orange matched the rest of the car perfectly. Just my own 2 cents.

Eventually I plan on intalling a secret unit in the glove box for real stereo but keeping everything not hidden as stock as can be.

this one, http://www.clarion.com/us/en/product...851137398.html

"728 Variable Color LCD and Illuminated Function Buttons (12 Presets and 3 Users)"

Ryosuke

Edit: I think it fits the lines of the car very well and my stock radio with the EQ from my 10th AE was a clarion... go figure.
