Cazy, Weird, And Just Strange!

Well, my idle sucks again! I've found that when I turn on my A/C, the car will ACTUALLY idle at 750 RPM!!!!! It has never done this well before!! BUT, it will ONLY idle this way when the A/C is on! It idles at 200 RPM, and it actually died at 5 stoplights in a row yesterday! Also, how high should the idle mix screw be up? But when the engine is cold, the idle cycles from 1000 RPM to 1400 RPM until the car is warm, then it will hold an idle for about 5 minutes, then it sucks all over again!! I have a 1991 N/A, and the only way my car will RUN is if it is about 1/4 of a inch out of the throttle body! Does this sound right?!?!?! HHHHEEEEELLLLLPPPP!!!!!

Your BAC is probably stick. It can be removed and cleaned.

Hmmm, well if that is the problem, then why does it kick in when I use my A/C? It idles fine now, it just craps on me sometimes...

Try this http://www.1300cc.com/howto/how2/bac.htm I'm inclined to think its a small vac leak. By the way here http://www.teamfc3s.org/info/articles/idle.html is a site that might give you some more insite on how a bac works. Ignore the title where it mentions a turbo, na work the same. The reason I put this url down, is because the bac works at something like 125hertz, it does not just open and shut a certain distance. It *vibrates*. Could also be a slight tps mis adjustment prob. Who knows.
