Cat delete w/ air pump?

This is gonna seem weird but on a 88 NA if you put the racing beat cat delete on but leave the air pump all hooked up will it work right? I know it's made for the air pump to be removed and eventually it will be and this is not by my choice but by the potential buyer of my car's choice. Just need to know if the car will still run right with the cat delete while retaining the air pump. Thanks ya'll.

yeah, I'm pretty sure you can leave the air pump. most people remove it because it's no longer needed, the weight, and the very small hp drain on the motor. it's probably even less of a drain when there's no cat to push air to.
