caster/camber plates question

I`m ordering kit from ground control, but i don`t have coilover kit. I do have tokico blue's and suspension techniques springs.
What i would have to do/change to be able to use them ?

Can i keep my shocks ? And/or springs?

Thanks

If you're just getting the camber plates, you keep the rest of your upgrade suspension.&nbsp The only thing that gets thrown away is the stock upper strut mount.

weird, from GC i got this info :

Requires the use of a Coilover Kit (2 1/2 inch inside
diameter) also requires modification to top of the struts.

Welp, it sounds like they changed their design - if they require you to run their coilover system, then you need to plunk down $400 for their stuff and remove your springs.

with the camber plates the mounting of the strut changes from the stock setup. you can use the struts you have but the springs are not going to work unless you make an upper spring mount to fit the larger springs(looks like a dished hat). plus with the large spring you will not gain much camber adjustment as the spring will hit the tower. as for the strut you will need an adapter bushing or the strut mounting area may need to be turned down to fit into the monoball on the camber plate. these bearings are usually US size and the struts are obviously metric size so there is always a an adapter that is needed. if you need the camber plates for your car then I would plan on buying the coil over kit as well. then try to see if you can have an adapter made locally for the strut. monoball bearings used on camber plates are usually 5/8"

usually the coil over "kit" is a threaded tube with a large adjuster the spring sits on, a 2.5" spring, and a top spring hat with some bushings and hardware. here is a pic from ground control. this will sit on top of the stock spring perch or you can cut off the stock perch and weld a collar onto the tube to hold the adjuster tube.
