There is a single bolt/nut just on the top of the CAS, to the left side of the engine. Its pretty obvious which one it is. That's all that holds the CAS in there.

However, it does use an o-ring at the top, and the top is prone to some aluminum oxidation, which tends to make it seize in place. First, remove that nut/bolt, then turn the CAS back and forth and pull up- HARD, and it will come out. If you cannot turn the CAS, lightly tap it back and forth with a rubber mallet until you can.

The front cover removes via 6 bolts, at which point you can then pry it off carefully.

Yeah i went and looked at it again and got it out....i just wanted to ask on here to see if it came out any different way than the distributor from the gsl-se...pretty simple. Thanks for the info anyways though...time to go put my gsl-se front cover and oil pan on now.
