After my Mechanic fixed my front cover gasket on my 89GXL the car would die right after I started it only when the engine was cold like in the moring. I would have to blip the throttle 2-3 times until it would idle. After that it would idle fine and run fine.

Is this a problem of too much advance or too retarted?
