Carburetor contemplation...
I'm not wanting to debate the differences or advantages of one fuel system over another...EFI is great, carbs are great, carbing EFI cars or EFI'ing carb'ed cars is fun and different so it's all good.
Anyway, at the moment I'm fabbing a carburetor setup for my MKI Supra. I'm using a custom adapter to fit 4 Keiheins from a CB900 to a cressida 4mE manifold. i had a lot of ideas for independant throttle bodies and such, but I simply don't have the room with the 4mE. Later, I'd like to do this same thing with a 5m or 7m...then I'd get to do the ITB's and tubular mani's and stuff.
But it's left me thinking about my other favorite engine series...the wankel. The next RX-7 I get I'd like to do a similar setup using a set of gsxr carburetors and I thought I'd ask for any kind of insight you guys might have concerning the idea.
