oh by the way to answer your question loool. I can have any custom hood pretty much within decent bounds for 550, the current design which may not be current anymore for $399 and hopefully within the next week I will have speaker surrounds and dash cover in Cf. And you will have to make your own mesh for the speaker surrounds.

Here's an idea. CF stereo surrounds (I know FC3s already makes them), CF shifter boot surrounds would accent nicely.

not to sound like a dick on this one or anything this is all of my personal taste....
why does every goddamn thing in the world have to be made of carbon fiber? I know it's light and all but we're not replacing hoods anymore boys! i mean seriously carbon fiber speaker grilles? is that an awesome addition to your sound system or what? like a 100 bucks to cover up your speakers just in style? damn man, to me that just don't seem worth it.
hey does anybody know where i can get a set of carbon fiber rotors and some blinker fluid? i can't find any in minnesota or on the internet but i know they're out there.
sorry not meaning to **** anybody off but i just think the carbon fiber **** has gone too far.
Peace,
Matt

You know the little triangle things on the inside of the windows that cover the attachment point for the outside mirrors? Make those, but include tweeter mounts.

ah hell if their stereo surround looks like that i could make one of those in a day or two easily......hmmmmm....i actually went thru the trouble of trying to get the lines and everything to work out, but hey if it is like that then i could fab up a stereo surround in no time. As far as the african engineering goes it is somethign i saw someone post the other day and thought it was very clever, im no racist tho. And as far as everything being in carbon fiber i think the washer fluid in CF would be great and would accent my CF windsheild nicely. On a more serious note many people have peices that are broken and missing and some people want to pick and choose what they want so I am all about choice and custom.

odds are quite a few of the 2nd gen owners won't have their cars for 15 more years. the toll time will take on the body even with good maintence--and including accidents and stuff we don't want happening happens.
So my thoughts are the odds are against the car outliving a cheap *** plastic part that will last another 10 years.
but hey i never meant to step on anybodys toes. it was just my opinion that costwise it would be a wee bit to your advantage to spend money on the engine rather than amazing carbon fiber parts.

i think we should kick marlaman and snub disphenoid off the island. haha. j/k i like the idea of the mirror traingles having tweeters. sick idea. id defiantley buy a set. id like to see carbon fiber body parts, like the fenders with gills for the brakes to cool off faster. not riceyish. but just some simple gills. or u could make a full body kit. id know thats what i would make if i knew how to mold and make **** with cf
personally, i don't like how carbon fiber looks. I can understand the added strenght/lightness factors, but seriously... people want to make the whole damn car out of carbon fiber.

And to be honest, neither of my ideas needs to be in carbon fiber... Fiberglass, play-doh, bondo... Doesn't matter... Just trying to think of stuff to make the car more enjoyable.
