Update??? did you get it?? $5800......hard to shell out but I may have paid that much. It is a nice vert. You can just drive and drive, no recon needed.

good buy definately great deal. For those of you hating. Most turboII are ragged the hell out already. Especially s4's. Which is why you find them for umbelieveable prices... Anyways, 92 was the last year for the vert, and very rare. N/a or turbo they are nice either way. I would leave a car like that bone stock and use it as a daily driver or weekedn car, and then have a lil project fc modded to have the best of both worlds.. Right now I have a turbo vert, but nowhere as clean as his. I would give up all my mods or even trade my car for a good clean vert.

I paid 6500 for my TII. It wqs unmolested, no rust, factory paint. Good shape. I would pay that for the vert. Leather look slike. If the dash and interior are super clean it's worth it. You start rebuilding and replacing interior pieces and carpet, seat covers ect, you'll quickly run up a several thousand doller bill.

Offer the guy 5500 cash and see what he says. Maybe you can meet in the middle at 6k. That would be a good deal.

Well said, I long for the day my vert was stock, clean and every accessory working. My vert is now turbofied and modded out but I would turn back in a second.

Yea I remember when my I first got my vert like 4 years ago. I loved it. ( Ihad 1 fc coupe before). I remember the joy I felt when i got to put down the top.. I used to like cruising around and ****.. Now its all about power and speed and Im never satisfied.. I want to justify all the money I spent on it and sure its quick but I dont get the same feeling when I sit in the car and lower the top. Anyways enjoy your car and keep it like that. Again very good catch

the first gen is actually not so pretty right now (there is a video on page 2)...

There should be some nice pics of it in next months Grassroots Motorsports, before that happened.

For all you guys worried about me hacking it up, I'm going to keep it very close to stock, probably just do TSE bushings, clutch, tires, brake pads, and some Koni's.

The only problem with it is the damn brake light in the dash. it comes on while going around corners, seems like it just needs a new switch, i'll have to sort that out this weekend...

Nice find, good price. It's definitely worth that much. I paid $6500 for my '91, but it has less miles on it. Finding one with original seats in that condition is next to impossible.

After driving it a while you'll feel the need for boost like I did, then you'll have a hard time adding up all the money you'll have wrapped up in it...

You picked up a great car for that $5800. It's in excellent shape from what I can see, and that engine bay is CLEAN.

Most people fail to realize how ragged on most FCs are. I bought my 1991 TII for $4100 at the end of last year. If the interior would have been in better shape, I would have gladly paid more money. Eventually, these cars could become a little more collectible. That's what I'm hoping. But not so mine goes up in value, but so more of them get preserved the way they should.
