Car wont turn over..
Went out to my car this morning to drive it to school.. get in it, clutch in, key in, turn the key, nothing.. my clock turned on for a second but then it died, then the key would do nothing but make my turbo timer flutter for on then back off and i think my idiot lights came on for a second..
Car ran great last night..
I drove the beater to school because I was running late to my first final but is there anything I can check when I get home?? I haven't even really looked at it yet.
Thanks.

try a jump, either its not getting power from the battery or your starter is gone. If the jump doesnt work. then try to roll start it.
-edit: Since you have weird electric activity it seems like the battery isnt getting ****, this happened to my girlfriends car, try a jump and have somebody rev the engine on the other car while u crack away

Ah. My car did that, and the battery was toast. Failed a load test miserably. If the battery is old, you might want to get it tested (most car parts stores have a load tester) and replaced if it fails.
Of course, my car then proceeded to chew up it's engine, so there may have been other problems too.
