flooded
cars flooded. real simple. pop your hood and pull out the fuse marked EGI com, get back in the car and put the accelerator to the floor anfd turnthe car over forabout 10 seconds. replace the use and you should be good to go. if that doesnt work there is a more elaborate way of doing it...but that usually does the trick. if not, i believe itsaddessed several times on here..just look around.

I have a quick question. The first time my car flooded I was on my lunch break. I remembered that you are supposed to pull a fuse and crack the engine then replace the fuse. Couldnt remember which one so I pulled the fuse marked "engine" in the fuse box by the clutch pedal. cranked the engine, replaced the fuse, and started it. It was sorta weak and i had to hit the gas to keep it from stalling, but it worked. Why did this work, What does that fuse control, I have done it 2 more times since then and it works good. oh yeah I have an 88 SE. thanks for the input
