The only time I believe you'd use syn is when you convert to 2-stroke.. but I could be wrong (SOMEONE PLEASE CORRECT ME??)
If rotaries really don't like syn oil, how bad is it to leave it in till the next oil change or should I just change it ASAP.

Builds up carbon, which isn't good for our cars at all (and may cause your car to lock up eventually). I suggest flush the car out, and put in non-syn.

Depending on where you live..... you use different weights...

here in FL .. in the summer I use 10w-30 and in winter 20w50 or something like that. One of those.

*edits my mistake*

You dont need to use that heavy an oil especially in california...

Synthetic are not bad on a rotary. It was the thought when synthetics first made it on to the market.

You do not need to use synthetic when you premix.

If you have a fuel pump kill switch and have to turn the pump off before you shut the car off then your injectors are in need of some serious cleaning. -Gabe

well I used castrol gtx 20w50 on my NA that I sold. My TII now currently has 10w30 but I just got it on tuesday night and havent had a chance to change the oil yet. I think I will stay with 10w30 for now since the weather is pretty cold.
