Car won't start need help, race this weekend

So I just got done putting an S5 turbo, adjustable fuel pressure regulator and pulsation damper on my S4 turboII. It ran great last night with no problems at all. Today I was driving it and got on it in third gear boosting to 8 psi and the car died. I tried bump starting it while it was rolling and it wouldn't start. I checked for fuel flow at the fuel regulator and it has fuel. The last time it did something similar to this the maf came unplugged, I checked the maf and it looks fine. I can;t think of what would be the problem besides an electrical short or a sensor unhooked.

It didn't pop it just turned off while driving. It didn't make any sounds so I don't think I hurt it that way. It didn't stutter like it ran out of gas either. Also the electric fan that is tied into the a/c is running constantly even after letting the car sit.

The temperature gauge never got over normal temperatures and it didn't boost very high.

EGI fuse is blown. How do we know that? Cause the fan will operate with the key to just On if the EGI fuse is blown.

Course if the water temp wire on top of the thermostat housing is disconnected your fan would turn on. BUt you lost engine power and your fan runs with key ON, so the EGI fuse is blown.

Don't ask where the EGI fuse is, please.

I thought I checked the egi fuse but I will check it again. the sensor on top of the thermostat is connected and there is coolant in it. Why does the fan turn on when the egi fuse blows?

You know your rotaries well. You just saved me a bunch of time that I would have spent working on it. I looked at the fuse just below the egi fuse earlier today after it happened but it was the egi fuse. Thank you for your knowledge.
