car wont start after driving it hard for more than 10 minutes

i just got this motor (its a s5) from japan and put it in my 89 and it runs really strong...but when i drive it hard for like 10 minutes(boosting it & drifting) and turn the car off it doent want to start(the car is not over heating) i have to let it sit for like 10-15 minutes and let it cool off then it will start right up...this is the only time this happens every other time the car will start right up...i would like to know if this is like a safety feature or something or is there something wrong..my mods are a remapped N374 ECU(by r-magic)so i push 12 psi of boost,3 inch downpipe, intake...i have the stock top mount intercooler which is not getting any air because i havnt got a turbo 2 hood yet..might this be the problem?

thanx any advice will be appreciated

sounds like it could be flooding, look up the "hot start problem" using the search function, there are quite a few things that could be going on.

The intercooler is "heat soaking".. and the fuel in the fuel rail is boiling. Your problem is most likely due to these to factors.

Putting the TII hood on should help. But if you can afford it, I'd get a front mount and put some louvers in your hood to lower the underhood temps.
