Car won't start after being gone a year

I left my car out of state for a whole year. Throughout the year i was told that my alarm kept going off and drained my bettery. The battery was dead so I replaced it, but the car still won't start at all...
Is there anything else that could be wrong with it? It's a 91 N/A. I'm just startin work and about to start school again and I really need it to get around. Any feeback would be appreciated. Thanks.

some kind of specification is generally helpful.

ok so your starter is not getting power. Test to make sure the battery is good. If it is check both the ground and the power wire going from the batt to the starter.

well if your alarm kept going off,I would suggest trying to Find out How to shut the Alarm OFF.,as I am Thinking that could be the Problem right there. If the Alarm is on,then it won't allow the car to Start.

+1 to the alarm and fuses.

Also, if you're going to be away from the car for some period of time, disconnect the + terminal to prevent draining the battery. Even with the car off, there is a mA or so of discharge, which over several months, will kill a good battery.
