Car wont start.

Ok this is the story. 2 weeks ago I let my boy do a standstill at in my car. Then he gets out & I hop back in & drive for about a block & my car overheats. The alternator to fan belt(stock fan) snapped & the fan stooped spinning wich caused my car to overheat & spill antifreeze everywhere. The next day put on a new belt & put antifreeze in the car & it turns on & its ok, but the only problem is that the car has an oil leak. So 2 weeks pass & the car bleeds oil to death & today I put Mobil 10w-30 motor oil in it so it I can finally take it to the mechanic & then the car doesnt want to start. Its cranking but theres no spark. So what I want to know is what could be the problem.

Please help.

I'm a n00b, so you'll probably get much better advice from the next poster, but if I had to hazard a guess, consider yourself lucky if you only need an engine rebuild.

Death?? I swear if this engine is blown, I'm going to join the dark side of the automotive world & buy a 88 Civic Hatchback, put a carbon fiber hood & bodykit on it & call it a day.

you sure it has no spark or are you just assuming it doesn't because it doesn't sound like it wants to start?

read the unflooding procedure in the FAQ at the top of the forum, it will tell you where the fuse is and how to unflood the engine if it is flooded.

feh, i guess it doesn't... there is 2 EGI fuses in the main fuse box in the engine bay, they are the 2 closest to the engine.

If you have no spark, make sure the ENGINE fuse is good. It's in the interior fuse box.

I was told it has no spark because my mechanic is my boy so he came over to my house & checked the car out & said my distributer might be bad. I'm going to try to unflood it right now but why would it be flooded if it took the oil pan 2 weeks to leak completely & then I put the oil in & it didnt want to start??
