car won't start

Well my car has sat for a couple weeks because I was having boost problems and smoking heavily(blown turbo is my guess so far). Now I went to start it and no go. I have spark because I held the wire up to some metal while cranking it. I jumpered the fuel pump and I was getting some noise by the injectors but I'm not sure about the pump(oh and I tried unflooding it to no avail). The car is not smoking at all when I crank it and I am not smelling fuel like you would normally when trying to start it and it not firing. Anyone have any ideas? Is it simply my fuel pump do you think?

Take the afm with the key to the on position and hold the flapper wide open. People have told me you can hear the pump kick up when doing that. Pull the plugs, is there gas on them?

How do you troubleshoot the cause of massive smoking? I can't tell which is bad with my car, the OMP, or the turbo... The damn thing will boost, but under load/and or revving in nuetral it smokes like a madman, and at idle it doesn't smoke at all... How do you go about troubleshooting what is the cause? Anyway, to the subject at hand... You can try holding the AFM open slightly and see if you can get it to fire since it'll both signal that you're getting air (thus, enabling the fuel pump, even though you have it jumpered, and tell the injectors to open) and see how that goes...

The gas may need to be replaced. It may be too old.

Smell the gas, is it nice and strong, or is it weak and stinky?

Its only been sitting like 2 weeks, gas doesn't go bad that quick right? I had it sit for like 3 months and it started right back up. I am going to swap my pump with another and see if thats it. I'll report back my results.

You should be able to hear the fuel pump "whine" when you jumper the plug. If you are not sure if you heard it or not then it is either too loud in the area you are in or the pump is not pumping. The "whine" is very distinct and would not be mistaken for any other noise made by the car.

hypntyz7's fuel injector test...

check fuel and fuel injectors/wiring. I do this by removing the upper intake, wiring the primary injectors to their rail, and cranking the car over with a pan of some sort under the injectors (now sticking partially up in the air) to watch for spray from both injectors. There is no way to check teh 2ndaries, other than getting the engine running and applying power to one of them and seeing if the engine drops rpm/dies (from being rich).

Not removing the upper intake for this, lol. My injectors I hear a noise from. My pump I do not. No noise what-so-ever from the rear like usual. Tomorrow I should have time to swap a different pump in and see how it goes.
