ok, the other day i ran out of gas and rolled into a gas station, luckily, i got 2$ of gas and then i left, after i left there was major lag, the car sounded like it was dying, like the cats were clogged or there was a damn golf ball in the intake or something...it was so starved for air. no acceloration at all. i know its not the cats, when i downshift it sounds perfect. so i bring it to this auto repair place. they **** it up more...well they fixed the lagging problem but they ******* borke off the idle screw...and then when i told them they said it was like that when i brought it in, so i have to get a new throttle body now, but in any case, the idle was turned up all the way anyway, so what are some common problems that makes for NO IDLE AT ALL... thanks in advance... gerry

did they check the tps to see if it was around .95 volts? as far as being starved for air, how's your air filter look?
