Car won’t start? Any idea?

I got the car two weeks ago and now it won’t start. I let the car sat for 1 week I tried starting it up. It started up fine then white smoke came out of the tail pipe so I was just think it was the engine because I let it sat for the week. Then I let the engine cool for 20 mins I went back and tried to start it. Did not wanted to start. I’m really confused now of thinking of what it is. I’m thinking about putting on a new fuel pump, new fuel injectors and fuel filter. The previous owner told me the car did not run at all it was a shell. So I did the basic touch ups like oil, coolant and new gasoline and now it’s not running. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks for reading!

Pull the spark plugs and post a pic, or tell us what they look like.

Throwing money at parts to troubleshoot problems will drive you insane. Your engine is flooded.

Should keep a second set of spark plugs on hand, so you can swap them out after deflooding the engine.

Pretty much applies to all, but if you're gonna start it, better let it run for a couple minutes, that or you better be driving it the next day. Partially pends on your engine condition but quick stints like driving 10 feet will flood the engine if you don't let it warm up.
