RE-A Headlight Scoop

Hi everyone,

Been searching all over but haven't found any information on the headlight scoop ducting size for the RE-Amemiya Headlight Cowl. Given that the headlight is roughly 4in , I'm assuming it has to be smaller if not equal to 4in?

If anyone has done this routing I would appreciate any info.

I tried to run everything down on RHD Japan and found:

https://www.rhdjapan.com/re-amemiya-...-kit-fc3s.html

Nothing too useful as far as actual dimensions.

For the lights that fit are 90MM (for the Hella replacement lights). Which is about 3.5"

I hope that helps sir. Good luck, always loved your car and appreciate the build.

Yeah I saw that RHD Japan and Vivid Racing offer the scoop but for the life of me I can't find dimensions. Once I get my hands on one I'll be sure to document it. I appreciate the compliments about my car.

Update: I ordered the RE-A headlight scoop from RHD Japan. Got to me in less than 2 weeks.

Here are some photos to help share information of the size of the scoop and how I mounted the headlight. It was a little different for my set up since I'm using the Shine Auto Project bumper with their acrylic covers. Compared to the authentic RE-A headlight cover the Shine Project covers are more fragile since the material is acrylic. I did use rivnuts to mount my covers. So my holes aren't perfectly aligned and spaced. I used a SCEET aviation grade High Temp intake scoop to route the cold air to my K&N Filter (I did have to cut into the frame).

Please note if you're doing this set up please confirm the clearance of the nut on the backside of the cover. It holds the scoop against the cover with the help of a bolt. The holes I made were a few mm too high and was making contact around the turn signal.

Thank you. I mean it's not perfectly aligned but not bad for a at home DIY with limited instructions.
