hey all im new to this site. this is my first post. i just got a rx7 today for free. heres the story: this car hasnt been started for over a year. and the shifter is all messed up. the engine bay is pretty clean. the brakes are kinda screwed up. i just added some dot 3 in there.

so i got it started with a jumper pack. and all this smoke came out of the exhaust. people at school thought there was a fire hehe. so it started a couple of times and the smoke was lessened. it said to check coolant. so we added some coolant in there. it was kinda complicated cause theres like some screw u have to unscrew to check the level. i didnt know. so we started it a couple of times more and it kept telling me to check the coolant. so we got that done. got it started. smokes coming out the engine. i can sell like a gas leak or something. but i think its cuase the exhaust prob has some holes. and blue smoke is coming out the tail pipes. after that, this crrappy battery died. then we got a new one. and now it wont start. its sparking but its not starting up. i think i might have flooded it. can anyone help me with this problem?

 

if its flooded pull the EGI INJ fuse under the hood and turn the car over for like 10 secs, put it back in then try and start it.



i have a problem and dont want to make a new thread with the same title so pardon my thread jack....

installed new clutch, plugged everything in. started the car it ran for a second then died, smoke came ffrom exhaust and turbo area. tried to start it again all it does is turn over. sooo i replaced spark plugs (NGK R) and made sure they were in the correct pos. and the wires in the correct pos.(yes). tried to start the car, nothing just turns over but not smoking anymore... tried the EGI INJ trick and still doesnt start wtf. anyone?

 

help me, drifting is tomorow,,,,,,.....

 

Disconnect the fuel pump., or crimp one of the fuel lines in the engine bay. Crank till it starts...
