car will not run

after changing some vacuum lines and fuel lines out that were bad my car will start but when you hit the gas it dies. any ideas??? I know the lines were put back the way they came off... Thanks

its a 1988 non turbo

Could be sucking air after the MAF as well... check all your intake fittings and gasketts..
